Jab Zuda
I sent two Gratuitous ninja postcards over to Zuda, DC Comics’ new web comic venture. Above, the Gratuitous Ninja postcard I did for Zuda that they didn’t use. I haven’t shown official GratNin work in awhile. Below is a detail from the postcard they chose. You can see it on the blog roll here.
hey ron! love the energy of the first. the second is just gorgeous. love the way it’s got a raw photo feel where you can see the physicality of it, like paper texture and actual sheet of screen tone. too cool. hope you’re doing well!

yeah, normally I’d be lazy and use some digitech, but I didn’t have that luxury here, hahaha… when you gonna do a Zuda card. It had better be overwrought like mine. I know when Richard saw it he was like, “Ron must not be working on anything”
