Ronald Wimberly (Ron) is a fresh-faced young artist in the split traditions of Hokusai and Hugo Pratt. He spends most of his time in Brooklyn sipping whisky, drawing and trying to beat his alter ego’s Capcom Vs. SNK records. He’s shown in Metal Hurlant and worked for Vertigo on several titles, including the critically acclaimed biographic novel of of MF GRIMM, “Sentences: the life and times of MF GRIMM”. Ron has been slanging drawings in the freelance illustrator ghetto since 2003.

His alter-ego, D?, a comic-book graphic-mixologist in the split traditions of Moebius and Kuniyoshi is not as uncomfortable talking about himself in the third person as Ron. Keep an eye peeled for his work in gutter-born, indie comics anthologies and in pretentious, ?˜invitation only’ art parties in NY/Tokyo/Berlin. D? is currently working on a creator owned project, “Prince of Cats”, for Vertigo.
