Here’s my February Calendar, fashionably late. 1440×900, I don’t have allot of size choices; drop me a line if you feel left out and maybe I’ll make “more size”.
Pictured here are Tybalt’s friends, from left to right: Sampson, Petruchio and Gregory. I’m starting to get an idea of what the book will look like. I’m really excited about this one.
I hope to finish my “March” entry before March begins.
More than a few years back, I think maybe before I got into comics, I forget… I did a video for Nas’ v “These are our heroes”… it was unreleased.
Maybe I’ll put some of the artwork up here when I get a second to breath, but anyway…
I’m honored to have done something for Nas, but this animation was a hard lesson for me for allot of reasons. I won’t go into details…
Just be ready to fail sometimes, and not always directly by your own hand… and be prepared to learn from those failures, cause if you don’t, you’re a dumbass.
LAST WORD I didn’t do the timing or the sinc… actually I did make editing/timing notes and my man Raph Tanghal did timing sheets based on them- as well as A GRIP of other shit, and his notations were completely disregarded by the director/editor.
Yeah, I know it’s January the third! Yeah, I know a calendar has twelve months. I got more coming! A different piece of the “Prince of Cats” world. Just let this one tide you over till those others come out. So just ‘right click’ or open and then ‘drag and drop’ or ‘ctrl click’ if you’re mac’in’. Hope you have Wide Screen, 1440×900 is the best one!
PS. if your’e interested in shop talk and a whole lot more work, I’m on deviantart. It’s a look at the seedy underbelly of illustration… or maybe it’s just a bunch of geeks making pictures.
Ed.Ï€ note– A friend of mine pointed out how “summery” it looks. Well… The entire story of “Prince of Cats” takes place in late spring and Summer, thus…
Hey everybody,
I’ve been in europe for the last six or so weeks; that’s why there have been no posts. I’m writing this post from my iphone, so no pictures/drawings, but expect many after I return.
I wont get into details now; I’m just posting to let readers know that I haven’t forsaken my post.
I started my eurotrip in Tuscany, where I put in six weeks of work as a featured extra in Spike Lee’s next film, “Miracle at St. Anna”. Now I’m in Berlin, crashing with some faux Nazis. I expect I’ll be wandering Europe for another week or so. Seeya when I get back.
