I sent two Gratuitous ninja postcards over to Zuda, DC Comics’ new web comic venture. Above, the Gratuitous Ninja postcard I did for Zuda that they didn’t use. I haven’t shown official GratNin work in awhile. Below is a detail from the postcard they chose. You can see it on the blog roll here.

Eight O’clock on Saturday September eighth, I’ll be at Rocketship Comic book store along with Percy Carey, AKA MF GRIMM, signing copies of SENTENCES. I’ll have some artwork up.
Oh yeah, Brian Wood will be there signing DMZ volume III too!
Sounds like a good time…

SDCC was a trip. Shout out to all the usual suspects, you know who you are… and the great people I met out there. Kristian, John and his crazy (in a good way) wife, Brandon Graham and Corey (Reyyy) Lewis, who’s markered up sketchbook inspired this marker sketch of Juliet from Prince of Cats.

Please excuse Don Perin-Juan’s typos…
Here’s a collection of the images I made for FACA contestant Murphy S. Law. Though she’s been defeated, her spirit is strong and she will be training day and night at D0jo-Ï€ for the next match for which she is elligible.

Fistacuffs is popping off! Everybody get out there and vote via the link below. The characters’ creator is undisclosed so I can’t say who’s repping “Dojo-3.14″ but you gotta get out there and choose… make it a good fight. I will not answer any questions pertaining to the identity of the character I created for the battle, so dont ask!
…and congratulations to “Knitty Gritty” for mustering a win from the Royal Rumble. It was fast and Furious.

taking a break from inking Deadman to post some old work… maybe to remind myself of what I do. Thought it’d be interesting for anyone perusing the old blog.
This is something I did a few years back for the Brooklyn Underground Film Festival. I was playing around with genre, graphic narrative and space. The name of the short is Panel Space. It used the space to tell the story. You can’t get the whole deal from these images; It’s kinda like taking a picture of a sculpture or a film, feel me? I hope to explore this concept again soon and hopefully, if you’re reading this, you’ll be on hand to experience it.
